寒すぎるカナダから東京へ帰ったので、気温がたった五度の日本は私にとって暖かくてよかった！

先に東京で遊んだので、今日は川越へ行った。

飛騨の高山市に少し似ているこの町は古い建物があるし、お寺や神社もある。

七、八月には富士山に登れるけれど、曇りと雨が多いので、周辺の五湖に行っても、あまり富士山が見えない。

冬は多分富士山を見るのに適した季節だと思う。

五湖の中で、山中湖は富士山の山頂の真ん中へ夕日（ゆうひ）が沈む（しずむ）瞬間に、ダイヤモンドのような太陽を見れる有名な所だ。

日帰りの観光スポットの江ノ島と鎌倉は初めて東京に行く観光客さんが行きたい名所の二つだ。

景色がいいし、古いお寺があるし、いろんな美味しい食べ物やお土産もある。

新宿から小田急線でゆっくり藤沢へ行った今日は天気がよかった。

日本にいるうちに東京以外の遠い所へ行く日帰りの計画も立てった。

今日は新幹線で長野へ行った。目的は地獄谷野猿公苑だった。

長野駅の外に野猿公苑行きのバス停がある。

Except when we were in the "Aurora Village" of Yellowknife, we joined other Aurora tour members, driving to various places in the wild.

Though Indian teepees were the great features of "Aurora Village" as the foreground of your photos, there were so many tourists with bad manners using flashlights ot flashbulbs that it was uncertain how our photos would turn out.

I just don't want to mention which country these tourists came from, but the news about their bad manners is already infamous worldwide.

If you need to use a flashlight to photograph an aurora, you should go to somewhere else so that your flashlight will not disturb others.

On Facebook, someone in the Northern Lights Club introduced a must-visit shop called Mother Earth Rocks. The hosts are Laura and Danny, and Laura teaches tourists how to make their own dream catchers.

In addition to dream catchers, you could also buy carved stones in the shape of polar bears or other animals, and other accessories.

Our new Taiwan friends at Yellowknife also visited this shop before and told us how kind Laura and Danny were.

Therefore, we also visited Mother Earth Rocks to spend one of our free days.

子供の頃から日本の映画、アニメ、テレビゲームなどを楽しんでいる。

漢字の意味がわかりやすいので、以前日本語を正式に習っていなかったけれど、日本語の言葉を少しわかる。

だけど、文章をよく理解できなかったし、会話も無理だったし、文章を作るのも無理だった。

When I chose our accommodation in Yellowknife, I checked the website of the Discovery Inn. Some of their suites seemed to be equipped with small kitchenettes.

Thus, I thought that we would had a small kitchenette in our room but actually we didn't.

In addition to a microwave and two coffee makers, there were no self-catering facilities.

So, the packets of instant noodles and the seasonings we had seemed useless.

午後新横浜博物館へ行った。

東京から新横浜まで新幹線に乗ったら、20分ぐらい。

交通の便がよいので、新横浜に着いたあと、もし時間があれば横浜市営地下鉄で横浜の観光スポットへ行くのもよい。

In addition to Aurora photography tours and city sightseeing tours, there are many things for you to do during your stay in Yellowknife, such as snowmobile driving, ice fishing, dog sledding and so on.

Because of my budget, I only chose to only do an interesting dog sledding trip that afternoon.

Some people might think it's wrong to have dogs dragging humans around.

However, before snowmobiles and other technology came to human life, it was a common way for humans and dogs to live together in remote regions, such as the northern territory of Canada or Greenland.

カナダから東京に帰ったあと、今回築地市場から一番近いホテルに泊まっている。

朝早くマグロ見学に行くため、ホテルの値段はちょっと高いけれど必要だ。

Yellowknife is a small town with an average winter temperature of -30°C. Hence, things that you could do easily in other warm regions was often tough here.

For example, the tourist center was only 500m from our inn, but walking there was not at all easy in such weather.

A supermarket and a post office was also nearby. Otherwise, we would have all our meals at the restaurant in our inn everyday.

By the way, prepared foods in the supermarket were about 5 CAD , while dining in the restaurant usually cost about 15 CAD or more with a 10% tip.

山中湖から東京に帰った後、上野に旅館を換えた。

個人的には、上野は成田空港へ行くのも一番便利なところだ。

京成上野駅の近くにある旅館にチェックインした後、まず上野動物園へ行った。

About watching the northern lights, locations and countries are various.

Yellowknife in Canada and Fairbanks in Alaska are quite popular destinations while Norway, Sweden, Finland and other places are also options for northern light watching.

If you prefer challenging locations, Iceland or Greenland are well known for the unstable weather, but would be great while the northern lights are happening nearby glaciers or lagoons.

Besides, Tasmania in Australia and southern regions in New Zealand are the only places where Aurora Australis can be seen.

旅行でいろんな所へ行った後、自分の好きなところが減ってると気づいた。

もちろん、旅行が大好きで続きたいけれど、もし終わらなくはいけない場合があるとしても大丈夫だと思う、そういう意味だ。

人生は自分の意志で過ごしてる人が少ないので、一生懸命過ごしてるのはいいことだ。

除了Aurora Village這種定點式的極光拍攝之外，我們也有參加開著車到野外拍極光的行程

雖說 Aurora Village 有原住民帳篷可以當前景，但是遊客實在太多了（可能還不乏沒品的、拿手電筒亂照的某國人）

我個人是很好奇，那個傻子會認為小小的手電筒可以把眼前的雪地或前景照亮的？

如果真的可以，那也是很強力的手電筒

之前在極光討論版，就已經有人介紹過這一家位於舊城區的 Mother Earth Rocks

他們 (Laura) 教人自己製作捕夢網 (Dream Catcher)，(Danny) 也有賣石雕（北極熊）

而我們所認識的台灣朋友們，也曾在某一天去了這家店，而且聽說還招待用晚餐

於是，我們也利用了其中一天的空檔（其實完全無事可做的白天），在下午時分，前往了這家店

原本在訂住宿的時候，因為看到照片裡的小廚房，就以為大概可以自己煮

於是除了泡麵之外，也買了調味料、咖哩塊及一瓶我家超愛的金門麻辣醬

結果，應該是少數房型才會有小廚房的樣子？我們所住的房間並沒有任何廚房設備，僅有微波爐跟咖啡壺（還不是快煮壺）

那麼這些東西該怎麼處理呢？原封不動的帶回家嗎？

在黃刀鎮，除了極光活動及市區觀光，還有其他活動可以打發白天的時間

比方雪地摩托車、冰上釣魚、狗拉雪橇等等

考量到每項活動都不便宜，我只暫訂了最有興趣的狗拉雪橇
